HellTrain

The scorched, desert planet of Perdition is home to the galaxy’s damned souls and hardiest settlers. Prisoners serve out their multiple life sentences doing hard labor, their souls captured by The Company’s siphons and uploaded to a new, cloned body conditioned for obedience when they die. Everything on Perdition is trying to kill the settlers and prisoners, so souls and supplies are transported between settlements on HellTrains.

It is up to the Railguards to hold off teams of bandits, packs of hellhounds, swarms of iron beetles, moles with blender faces, and giant rattlesnakes who seek to derail the HellTrains. The trips are deadly, so it's good there are spare clone bodies for the Railguard's souls to enter when they die.

HellTrain is a TTRPG of gunslinging, sci-fi action on speeding trains. When characters die, they get a chance to choose a new body with different strengths and abilities to tackle the threats facing the HellTrain.

HellTrain was made for the One-Page RPG Jam 2024 using the optional theme of transport.
