Dead Wizard's Tower

It’s been days since anyone has seen the wizard who lives by himself in the tower and rarely emerges. He’s probably dead. Through the holy drawing of straws ritual, the PCs got picked to go retrieve the wizard’s body and rummage around in there for anything that will help the town out. Rummage around in the tower, that is… not the body.

I've found it! The first every fantasy RPG quest! They say this is what the fabled author of 1e made his players do when they first sat down to do something no one else had before.

This quest is intended for level 0 adventurers in 1e, but you could use any fantasy roleplaying game to run it. The whole game is just what you see in that screenshot on this page, but downloads help things stay on the popular pages so other people can find them, so they're appreciated.
