CRAVE

In 21XX, Generation Ship: Dragon’s Shadow launched from its dying home in search of new horizons. GS:DS is secretly ferrying a small clan of vampires who rely on the short-lived colonists to slake their eternal thirst on their long trip to a sunless world. You are one of these vampires. Your centuries on this ship have been luxurious but grow dull.

Drifting in the void, far from the light of any stars, a concerning fervor has gripped a few of the mortals who babble about the Ancients of the Deep Beyond. More than one colonist has turned up dead, brine inexplicably filling their lungs.

Something has plans for the people on this ship. Maybe you’ve grown to care for the mortals. Maybe you’re worried about your food supply. Maybe you just don’t like competition. In any case, only the vampires on Dragon’s Shadow can push back against the Deep Beyond.

CRAVE is an ultralite tabletop action-horror roleplaying game for two or more players. You will need a handful of coins or a digital equivalent to play this game.

CRAVE has magenta text against a black background . The black and white version has black text against a white background and may be friendlier to some eyes.

The rules of CRAVE are written in a pseudo-code style. You do not need to know anything about coding to understand the rules, but it may be a barrier to some readers just by being unfamiliar. The CRAVE User Manual gives the same rules in a more familiar style that may be more accessible to some readers. The User Manual is not required for play.
