Quick Updates: Where there's Fire, there's Smoke

I re-uploaded the PDF. The new version has the fonts embedded, so it should show up right if you're viewing it in your browser or whatever. If you've been looking at it before in your browser and thinking some of the headings are floating in weird places with super generic fonts, that would be why.

I also changed the role questions to read "once a smoke," instead of "once a fire," for clarity's sake. There are destinations called smokes, not destinations called fires. Maybe I'll end up remembering why I said "once a fire" in the first place, but I'm pretty sure it's just a holdover from an earlier draft.

That's all! I went back to this because I had read Brad Kerr's Hideous Daylight and there were some similar thematic elements between that and this. I dunno. Maybe it would be neat to have a conversion of HD that's ATiCL compatible complete with the Heat mechanic.

Maybe a step before that is putting together an EPUB or plain-text for this. That's kind of a bear of a project since I wrote directly into the formatted document and there are text boxes everywhere, but I have a summer coming up. Summer's the right season to play with this.

P.S. This post is doing some weird things with where new lines start that I don't know how to fix. The weird short lines of text and sometimes broken up words are not on purpose.
